The TLDR: It will be hard to limit the course of severe Rona in a country with endemic Toxoplasmosis as a widespread underlying infectious state which makes Rona worse; it will be even harder because a key tool in management of Toxoplasmosis is Ivermectin (IVM), and the messaging surrounding that molecule has become a political football.
The Claim Basis: Toxoplasmosis is a risk factor for acquiring SARS-CoV-2 infection and a severe course of COVID-19
Toxoplasmosis gondii is endemic in a land with more cats than children. (Sorry Gato Malo :/ ) Can IVM’s ability to stop T. gondii also halt the pathogen’s contribution to serious Rona? Time will tell.
All we really know is that TPTB really, REALLY hate IVM with the burning passion of 1,000 suns. Why?
Does T. gondii prevalence somehow make TPTB happy, and it’s removal would make them sad? Opposing IVM protects T. gondii and that seems to be a critically imperative goal because the opposition to IVM is wall-to-wall and ferocious outside dissident circles. If we are to believe the claims that Rona is the worst plague ever made, then a simple interest in exploring all possible solutions to this intractable global Coof should be welcomed. But THIS one molecule seems very unjustifiably annoying to them. For the record, I am not decided on what IVM can or cannot do. I am decided on the idea that TPTB lie consistently in service to unseen agendas.
So it is a mystery. Here are some unrelated factoids to consider. Read about the ivermectin-like anti-parasitic effects of pimozide. And then read what the coincidentally anti-depressant pimozide can really do. Microbiologically, anything pimozide can do, IVM can do better. QED
TPTB have another hobby that has suddenly burst upon the zeitgeist in recent years. Maybe the two things are related.
I've wondered about the mad suppression of IVM, as well. Had no idea it could potentially treat gender dysphoria. Wow, crazy. I thought perhaps it was just their fear that IVM might be used to treat flu, cancer, and some of their other favorite cash cows. Great find!
Toxoplasmosis does change human behavior, it changes us to more risk taking behavior, aggressive in an entrepreneurial way. I just read a medical article stating that many of the entrepreneurs in this world are due to the parasite gondii. I searched this out of curiosity due to a massive behavioral change in myself after I fought covid in December and consumed equine ivermec ( at the appropriate dosage ). I feel great, full of energy and now my desires are to spend time with my family rather than conquer the world. An amazing side effect in my opinion
